Neurose fanmade MV - full clip • behind the scenes

This was my 2024 graduation film!
I've wanted to make a music video for a long time and since I loved Glutamine's cover of Neurose by Hachiya Nanashi (Kuriyama Yuri), I chose this one. Actually the song was pretty much perfect for the kind of animation project I was looking for (playing with moods and aesthetics more than telling a coherent story). I enjoyed working on this one even though the production took almost a year to finish!

I used TVPaint for the animatic and After Effects for post-production and additional effects/motion design animations. Everything else was done using Clip Studio Paint.

I was helped by Marie-Michelle Kaysarov (coloring) and my dad (sound-design and mastering).
