Jeannine - concept arts and storyboards

Part of the work I did for a 3-week workshop during which we had to create a 5-8 min short animated film project in groups of 4 (2 animators and 2 scenarist/film maker).

The story is of Jeannine, an old lady who wants to gather her family around a meal to tell them a speech. But it turns out that no one really cares about what she has to say and everybody ends up arguing about the heritage. So much so that the family steals furnitures before going, leaving the poor Jeannine lonely in her stripped apartment.

It was a very stressful although quite interesting experience: I had never participated in a comedy film project before. This is still not my thing to be totally honest, but at least it made me step out of my comfort zone.
